Air Europa has finally taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, becoming the first 787 to be registered at Spain (EC-MIG). It will be deployed on flights to Tenerife North until April 1st. SP-LRF, the Boeing 787-8 currently used by Air Europa for flights to Miami will be returned to LOT Polish Airlines later this month. The LOT Boeing 787-8 operated by Air Europa on Madrid-Miami flights EC-MIG touched down at Madrid Barajas airport at 10:20 LT after performing a low pass over runway 32L, and was greeted by the airport fire sevices upon arrival to its parking position. This is one of the four 787-8 Air Europa is scheduled to recieve during 2016, the next one being EC-MIH.

Iberia Express has received two A320's, both second hand. Registrations are EC-MEG and EC-MEH. Both A320's came from Woensdrecht Air Base. EC-MEH is leased from AerCap, and has flown for many airlines, including Sabena, CSA and Bingo Airways. EC-MEG is also leased from AerCap, and has been in service since 2001. Iberia Express is fitting their A320's with sharklets, so only time will tell what will happen with these two aircraft.
